SmartAX MA5801-FL04 is the first FlexPON OLT NanoOLT in 1U. It offers several fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) solutions to meet the requirements for cost-effective and efficient networking. There are 4 FlexPON ports for GPON/XGS-PON and 4x10G + 2x2.5GE uplinks for up to 512 (XGS-PON) FTTH users.
What is FlexPON?
FlexPON ports allow the use of different types of SFP PON from GPON to GPON/XGS-PON Combo SFP+. You can further differentiate the functionality with RTU (Right-to-Use) licenses to enable the required services incrementally

- GPON SFP - GPON SFP and license
- COMBO SFP - corresponding number of GPON licenses, XG(S)-PON network is not available, serves as preparation for transition to 10G
